Prop Saver Installation Tool

S

That's a 6" steel scale in the background - the tool is
made from a piece of 1/4" O.D. Stainless Steel tube about 4" to 6" long and
about 2" of 5/8 O.D dowel - both available from local hardware store. Using
a dremell cut-off disc, carefully notch one end of the tube as shown in pic

and deburr it.

Cut to length & deburr. Drill a 1/4" dia. hole in
dowel about 1" deep, insert the 'tool' and secure it with some thin CA.
Paint your favorite color if ya want to - that's it.
Pictures 70015a, 18a & 20a show the installation of the rubber band onto the
prop saver.

SOOOOO much better than a screwdriver!
Check out our prop saver Bands ... sooo much better than an O-Ring or a normal rubber band!!!
